Great news for all the people who love Indian movies. I got absolutely smashing tip about Eros International's streaming video service, which is now available also in Finland! And the best part is that most of the movies should have English subtitles!

Erosnow costs 8€ per month which is on a par with other popular video services (ViaPlay and Netflix). Unfortunately the subscription needs to be paid with credit card and the monthly payments are billed in dollars at least for now. You can find both old classics and new films there. There's 14 days free trial and after that it works with monthly subscription. Subscription may be cancelled by the user in any time.

Special 26 at Kino K-13 on 23.2.2013!

Good news! There's a new opportunity to see Akshay Kumar's latest movie Special 26 (Chabbis) tomorrow evening in Kino K-13, Helsinki! The movie is based on a real life incidents and it has got quite good reviews so be sure you don't miss this wonderful opportunity to see good Hindi cinema! For the viewers who are expecting the basic sing-and-dance Bollywood rutine movie, I have to warn you that the movie is much more realistic. It does have some singing and dancing, so it's not completely Parallel Cinema.

The film stars Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles with Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. The film is based on a real life group of con artists who pulled off many clever robberies during 1980's, and robbed famous businessmen and politicians by pretending to be the CBI or Income tax officers, on the pretext of conducting raids they would take away all the black money hoarded by them, the film also takes its concept from the real-life daring heist dated 19-March-1987 where the same group posing as CBI officers executed a daylight income tax raid on the Opera House branch of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri in Mumbai, and disappeared with jewellery worth lakhs. The movie is set in the early 1980's.

The film is directed and written by Neeraj Pandey. The film is produced by Shital Bhatia, Deepak Gawade and Kumar Mangat Pathak. Cinematography by Bobby Singh and editing by Shree Narayan Singh. Movie is composed by M.M. Keeravani and Himesh Reshammiya. Lyricist are Shabbir Ahmed and Irshad Kamil.

Salwar Kameezeja metsästämässä

Hei lukijat! Onko teillä vinkkejä hyvästä nettikaupasta, josta voisin tilata itselleni uudet Salwar kameez puvut? Teen kartoitusta mistä saisin ostettua laadukkaita, mutta suht edullisia (onko tuo kombinaatio edes mahdollista?) intialaisia vaatteita. Tähän mennessä olen löytänyt Rupali Online ja Cbazaar -nettikaupat.

Kaikki aiemmat intialaiset vaatteeni (Salwar kameezit, Lehenga Cholit ja Sarit) olen hankkinut Intiasta. Raskauden myötä vartaloni leventyi varmaan kymmenellä sentillä ja näin ollen joudun uusimaan vaatekaappini sisältöä. Vanhoista puvuista en kuitenkaan suostu luopumaan. Elän toivossa josko jossain vaiheessa vartaloni palautuisi vanhoihin mittoihin. :)

Kaikki vinkit ovat tervetulleita!

Salwar Kameez

Anarkali suit

Lehenga Choli

Hi readers! Do you have any tips about good webstore, where I could buy Salwar Kameez suits for myself? I'm cheaking out different webstores where I could buy good quality but cheap (is this combination even possible?) Indian clothes. So far I have found Rupali Online and Cbazaar webstores.

All the previous Indian clothes (Salwar kameez suits, Lehenga Cholis and Sarees) I have bought in India. Due to my pregnancy my body got wider about ten centimeters, so I have to get new clothes. I'm not willing to loose the old clothes, because I'm hoping to get back in my previous shape in some day. :)

All tips are welcome!
